Chromatizing (Chromate Conversion Coating)

At Sunlights Inov Tech, we provide Chromatizing solutions for bright aluminium components, with finish options available in white, yellow, and green shades based on the required application and specification. Our process can be carried out to specified Type 1 / Type 2 and Class 1 / Class 3 requirements, depending on the customer's technical requirements.

Yellow Chromatization as per MIL DTL 5541F Standard.

  • Excellent corrosion resistance

  • Improves paint and powder coating adhesion

  • Maintains the original dimensions of components

  • Enhances surface durability and protection

  • Increases the service life of metal parts

  • Suitable for aluminum, zinc, and cadmium components

  • Cost-effective surface treatment for industrial applications

Applications

Chromatizing, also known as Chromate Conversion Coating, is a chemical surface treatment process that forms a thin protective layer on aluminum, zinc, cadmium, and their alloys. This coating significantly improves corrosion resistance, enhances paint adhesion, and provides an excellent base for further finishing processes without altering the component's dimensions.

Benefits of Electropolishing

  • Stainless Steel Components

  • Precision Engineering Parts

  • Electrical & Electronic Components

  • Industrial Equipment

  • Medical & Engineering Components

  • Tubes, Fittings & Small Components

  • Components requiring a clean and smooth finish

Electropolishing

Electropolishing is an electrochemical surface-finishing process that removes a controlled amount of material from the surface of a metal component. It produces a smoother, cleaner, brighter, and more uniform surface, while helping reduce surface imperfections and improve corrosion resistance.

Applications

  • Smooth and bright surface finish

  • Improved corrosion resistance

  • Reduced surface roughness

  • Removal of minor surface imperfections

  • Easier cleaning and maintenance

  • Improved surface appearance

  • Suitable for precision components

Benefits of SS Passivation Process

  • Stainless Steel Components

  • Precision Engineering Parts

  • Aerospace Components

  • Defence Components

  • Electrical & Electronic Parts

  • Industrial Machinery Components

  • Valves, Fittings & Fasteners

SS Passivation Process

Passivation is a chemical surface treatment process used mainly for stainless steel components. It removes free iron and other surface contaminants introduced during machining, fabrication, or handling, allowing the natural protective oxide layer on the stainless steel surface to form and provide better corrosion resistance

Applications

  • Improves corrosion resistance

  • Removes surface contaminants and free iron

  • Helps restore the protective oxide layer

  • Provides a cleaner and more uniform surface

  • Helps extend component service life

  • Suitable for precision stainless steel components
